We are looking for a Colourstrings- trained violin teacher with excellent teaching, playing and communication skills, good organisational skills, enthusiasm for working with children and knowledge of Kodály solfa. This school is highly collaborative, and an ability to work well with colleagues is therefore a distinct advantage.

Teaching Violin at CMS
Children at CMS will have had a minimum of 2 years musicianship/ kindergarten training BEFORE starting an instrument. They then take a package which includes individual lesson, group lesson or orchestra, musicianship and choir.

  • Music teaching experience

  • Colourstrings violin teacher training: at least phase 1
  • Willingness to commit to further training if necessary and/or when the opportunity arises
